Atlas

Banner Health has invested in Healthpartners Atlas, a company that develops and operates ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). The two companies entered a joint venture last year to build a network of ASCs in Arizona. Through this partnership, Banner increased its ASC footprint from eight to 26 while increasing revenue and volume by over 155 percent. Atlas anticipates owning more than 50 ASCs by 2025.
